Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the services provided by Aspire2Plab Limited. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, please do not register for the course.

Course Bookings and Payments

  • Your booking is only confirmed once full payment for the course has been made.
  • Once payment has been received, you will receive a confirmation email.
  • All course programmes are subject to change, and alterations may be made to ensure that we are teaching the most up-to-date and relevant content.
  • The tutors teaching at Aspire2Plab Ltd. might be changed without any prior notification.
  • No audio or video recording is permitted at any of our courses.
  • Our terms and conditions are subject to change, although we will always honor the terms in place at the time of your booking.

Class Timings & Schedule

  • The usual class timings are from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM, however, the timings may vary depending on the tutor.
  • The schedule for the classes will be given on a day-to-day basis. If you require the schedule for the complete course, we can only give you an approximate idea.

Discounts

  • Group of 5 Discount: £100 per person when paid together.
  • Plabable Discount: £50 per person when proof of Plabable subscription for PLAB Part 1 is provided.
  • Discounts are not applicable for the online courses or overseas courses (out of the UK).
  • Only one form of discount can be availed at one time.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • If you wish to cancel your booking, you must do so via email at info@aspire2plab.com.
  • Refunds will be available until 14 days from the date of the payment made, minus an admin fee of £100.
  • No refunds or cancellations will be made if the refund is requested 14 days before the start of the course.
  • There are no refunds available for payments made 14 days before the start of the intended course.
  • There are no refunds available if a candidate postpones the intended batch to be joined.
  • Refunds will be processed in 14 to 28 business working days.
  • Refunds will be made to the same account from which the payment has been made.
  • If you avail any kind of discount, no refund will be given.

Cancellation of a Course by the Management

  • In the unlikely event that the management has to cancel a course, candidates will be informed at the earliest.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances where Aspire2Plab Ltd. is not able to conduct the course due to reasons beyond Aspie2Plab Ltd’s control, a guaranteed place will be given on the next PLAB 2 course (whichever is preferred). If the preferred course happens to be overseas, the candidates must pay the full fees (difference amount) as discounts are not applicable for the overseas courses.

Online Course: Registration & Mocks

  • Online course candidates coming to the Academy in the UK for practice and to take mocks should bring the following documents:
    • Photo copy of candidate’s identity proof (passport / driving license).
    • Photo copy of candidate’s valid visa (if coming from outside the UK).
    • Photo copy of candidate’s GMC – PLAB2 exam confirmation (if PLAB2 exam is booked).
    • One passport size photograph of the candidate.
  • Registration on the first day of your arrival at the academy is mandatory to access the academy facilities.
  • Mocks are included in the 12 days online course fee and should be booked by the candidate via email at least 2 weeks prior to their arrival at the academy.
  • After attending our online course, candidates will get access to practice only at the academy.
  • If a candidate wishes to join our full course after attending our online course, they will need to pay the difference amount in the full course fee.

Overseas Courses: Registration & Mocks

  • Overseas course candidates coming to the academy for practice and to take mocks should bring the same set of documents as mentioned for the online course.
  • Registration on the first day of arrival at our office in the UK is mandatory, even if you have registered at the overseas course. Failure to register may result in denied access to academy facilities.
  • Mocks and practice can be done only in the UK.

Mocks

  • Mock dates must be discussed and booked with the administration at the earliest convenience of the candidates. Once mock dates are confirmed, they cannot be changed under any circumstances.
  • Extra mocks can be booked for an additional fee, but the availability needs to be confirmed by the administration before the payment.
  • Candidates can cancel the extra mock with one-week prior notice. If extra mock is booked in less than a week’s time, there is no cancellation under any circumstances and payments must be made by the candidates.
  • If a candidate fails to turn up for a mock for any reason, it is not possible to accommodate for mocks at any other day/time.
  • It is mandatory to be in the Academy 30 minutes prior to the scheduled mock time.

Academy Opening & Closing Timings

  • Academy timings: 9:15 AM to 7:00 PM. However, timings may vary when the management deems fit.

Course Materials

  • The administration will try to provide updated PLAB2 course materials to all the candidates according to their batch, however we can only provide a softcopy of the new or updated material during/after course.
  • The course material is intended only for educational purposes and is not reliable for actual treatment purposes.
  • The clinical scenarios in the course material are of common and important cases any medical student or professional would see during their medical training or work life and are not the actual cases in PLAB2 exam and any similarity with PLAB2 exam cases is purely coincidental.
  • Aspire2Plab Ltd. does not hold any copyright for the content of the course material.
  • The material provided to any candidate for any course is not to be reproduced or distributed to anyone else apart from solely using for your own preparation.
  • Candidates found to be distributing Aspire course material will face legal consequences, including reporting to the GMC.

Free Mock Exams

  • Once a mock exam is booked, it cannot be changed or revised.
  • Postponing of mock exams is subject to specific terms and conditions.

Paid Mock Exams

  • No refunds or cancellations are allowed for paid mock exams.

Consent Statement for Photography and Videography

  • At Aspire Plab Academy, we may capture photographs and videos during classes & practice sessions for educational and promotional purposes. By attending our classes, you consent to Aspire Plab Academy capturing images or recordings that may include your likeness or voice.
  • These visuals may be utilized in educational materials, promotional content, social media, and other platforms associated with Aspire Plab Academy. Your participation in these visuals is voluntary, and you acknowledge that no compensation will be provided for their use.
  • If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, kindly inform our staff or instructor at the start of the class session.
  • Your attendance in Aspire Plab Academy classes signifies your agreement to these terms regarding photography and videography.

Data Protection

  • Names, course, and batch attended may be provided to our partner associates if needed for reference purposes only.

Privacy Policy

  • We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our clients; this policy sets out how we will treat your personal information.
  • Personal data submitted to the academy will be used for the purposes specified in this privacy policy or in relevant parts of our website.
  • We may use your personal information to send statements and invoices, collect payments, send general & promotional PLAB2, medical, and educational-related information.
  • Pictures or videos taken in the class by the management may be used for promotional purposes on our website, advertisements, or social media.

Unauthorized Teaching Outside Academy Premises

  • Any student who is studying or has completed studying the course and engages in teaching outside the academy premises without prior consent from the academy may be subject to legal proceedings.

Guarantees or Assurances for Client Satisfaction

  • If for any reason the clients are not satisfied, we allow them to attend the course of their choice either face-to-face or online without any charges.

Formal Complaints Procedure for Dissatisfied Clients

  • After each course, the clients get the opportunity to give their feedback regarding the course. The clients can give any complaints directly to the administration.

Disability Discrimination

  • Our classroom is located on the ground floor to make it accessible for those in a wheelchair. We provide recorded lectures in video and audio format and notes so that any client with any form of disability can benefit from it at their own pace.

Equal Treatment

  • All our materials including live lectures, recorded lectures, and notes are equally accessible to each client.
